Recently, Lisa Murphy of the Polk County Mental Health Task Force presented a check for $1,716 to the School District. Mr. Petersen accepted this generous donation which was raised through the annual Polk County Suicide Awareness Walk earlier this fall. The Task Force, donations from the event day, and smaller individual donations comprised the total figure. These funds will be used to support activities related to mental health and wellness and the school counseling department. #CLWarriorPride #TogetherWeMakeADifference

Mr. Crawford's History 9 class, who are studying immigrants traveling to America to establish a new life. In this class, we are exploring how the boats were made and what it would have been like making the long journey as a passenger.
Our students had an unforgettable adventure on their field trip to Mickelson's Tree Farm! From hands-on learning experiences to exploring new places, everyone had a blast! It was a day full of laughter, discovery, and memories that will last a lifetime. A big thank you to Mickelson's Tree Farm, our teachers, and chaperones for making this trip so special and ensuring everything went smoothly!
