Aubree spoke to Mrs. Petersen's Careers class and Mrs. Zingsheim's Chemistry class (via Zoom) about the important work she does treating cancer patients.
She even took a vacation day to invest in our students and share her training journey and career path. We couldn't be more proud of this Clear Lake grad!
Thank you, Aubree!

"The more that you read, the more things you will know." — Dr. Seuss
It’s almost time for Read Across America Week (March 2–6)! We’re celebrating the joy of reading all week long, along with fun dress-up days! Whether it’s a classic page-turner or a brand-new graphic novel, there’s a story out there for everyone.

Our JK class turned the classroom into a winter wonderland. We were 'catching' letters and mastering our sounds, one cast at a time. We also explored the world of local fish, and while they were all cool, the Northern Pike definitely stole the show!
Watching their faces light up with every 'catch' was the best part of the day. 💙

Cupid’s Carnival at the Community Center – this Saturday, Noon to 4 pm
This week, invitations and raffle tickets were sent home in Elementary students' backpacks. Make sure to check them, and bring your ticket to enter for fabulous prizes!
The Clear Lake Area Community Center (CLACC) — our former junior/senior school building — is a vital part of our community.
The community center is more than just a building. It’s the place where families gather, youth and senior programs are held, local organizations meet, and events bring generations together. It is truly the heart of our community, and many of our students and families benefit directly from the programs and activities hosted there throughout the year. For example, the high school play will be hosted there next month!
This Saturday, February 21, from Noon to 4 PM, tenants of CLACC will host their annual Cupid’s Carnival Fundraiser. This all-ages, family-friendly event helps raise funds to maintain the historic building and continue offering programs and space that serve our students, families, and community members.
By supporting Cupid’s Carnival, you are helping preserve a space that continues to enrich the lives of Clear Lake students both inside and outside the classroom.
We encourage our school families to attend, participate, and support this important community fundraiser. When we support the community center, we are investing in the same community that supports our school.
We hope to see you there!

Many Clear Lake alumni remember "The Echo" - but does anyone remember "The Crier"? 📰
Before laptops and digital publishing, this student-run publication was produced by editors and typing students the old-school way.
Were you part of The Crier or do you recognize anyone in these photos?

🤫 Our Little Secret is Out!
At the Elementary, the students weren’t the only ones having a blast last week! While the kids were focused on their lessons, we were busy having a little undercover fun. Our teachers just wrapped up a Secret Dress Up Week, and the faculty lounge has never looked so... interesting.
📸 Week in Review:
USA Day: Red, white, and blue from head to toe. We’re feeling extra patriotic! 🇺🇸
Anything But a Cup: Ever seen a teacher drink coffee out of a Kleenex box or a perfume bottle? Now you have. ☕
Warrior Wednesday: Decked out in our school colors to show everyone that we have the most pride in the building. 📢
Jersey Day: Repping our favorite teams! Our competitive sides definitely came out today🏀🏈
Favorite Holiday: We had everything from Christmas elves to spooky skeletons in the hallway. 🎄🎃
We know we are here to teach, but we're also here to have a blast! A huge thank you to all the staff who participated and kept the secret (mostly) under wraps!
