🌧️ A Little Rain Won’t Stop Our Warriors! 🛡️
Our 3rd-grade classes swapped sunglasses for rain jackets this week! Even though the clouds rolled in, it was still a fantastic day to be a 3rd grader in Clear Lake.
Our students took a well-deserved break at Clear Lake Park, proving that you don’t need sunshine to have a blast. From jumping in puddles to exploring the misty walking trails, it was a memorable way to celebrate all their hard work this school year. A little rain just added to the adventure!
A huge thank you to the teachers and chaperones for being such good sports, and to the Clear Lake School District for supporting these outdoor experiences—rain or shine. We are so lucky to have this beautiful backyard for our Warriors to explore! 💙☔

Our 2nd-grade Warriors took their reading lesson "off-road" this week! With the beautiful weather in Clear Lake, we decided the best way to dive into a good book was with some fresh air and sunshine.

Students learned helpful tips for reducing insurance rates, as well as the importance of understanding different types of insurance and how they can impact financial planning.

Last Friday, Clear Lake High School celebrated graduation with a ceremony filled with reflection, music, recognition, and Warrior pride.
Thank you to our school board, administration, staff, families, and community members who helped make this day special for our graduates. From the welcome and addresses to the student speeches, band and choir performances, and final class moments, it was a meaningful celebration of the Class of 2026.

DD Kennedy Center was an exciting place for the kindergarteners to visit! The park is ideal for outdoor education, featuring a prairie restoration area, hiking trails, native grasses, wildflowers, bird-watching, fishing, a dam, and millponds. It was a good time!

For the third time this season, Shelby Meyer has broken her own CLHS school record in discus! 👏
Last week in Boyceville, Shelby recorded a throw of 151-10, surpassing the previous school record of 148-2 that she set earlier this season.

🎓 Senior Spotlight: Ryan Prestrud
Whether he was on the baseball field, trap shooting, or spending time outdoors, Ryan’s high school years were built around the things he enjoys most. As a baseball captain and 2nd Team All-Conference selection, he’s proud of how much he grew through the game over the years.
After graduation, Ryan plans to attend A&P School to pursue a career as an aircraft mechanic.

Our 4th-grade explorers traded the classroom for the great outdoors today with an incredible boat tour at Taylors Falls! 🌊 The students had front-row seats to some of Mother Nature’s most impressive handiwork. As we cruised along the St. Croix River, we got an up-close look at the unique rock formations and massive "potholes" carved into the cliffs. It was a day filled with fresh air, sunshine, and some seriously "cool" science. A huge thank you to our chaperones and the tour guides for making this such a memorable voyage!
