After breaking her own school record (136’6”) at the Friday Night Flights meet in Durand with a throw of 139’0”—also a new stadium record—Shelby did it again Tuesday in Baldwin, setting a new school record of 148’2”.

🎓 Senior Spotlight: Anthony Holloman
Anthony’s approach to high school? Keep it simple - show up, stay out of trouble, and get it done. He’s especially proud of making it through all four years without a single detention.
A multi-sport athlete in football and track, Anthony stepped up as a team captain, leading by example and staying consistent for his teammates.
Outside of school, he enjoys hanging out with friends, gaming, and relaxing at home.
After graduation, Anthony plans to pursue a career in mental health counseling.

✨ Highlights include:
• Molly Meyer & Kiley Marley served as State Ambassadors for Region 1
• Shelby Meyer earned a Silver Award in her STAR Event, Chapter Service Project – Portfolio, for “Repurposing with a Purpose”
• Rose Wood rocked the runway in the FCCLA Fashion Show, showcasing a wrap skirt she designed
• Molly & Shelby presented “Mind Over Muscle,” a RedTalk highlighting their knowledge and leadership
• Kiley & Rose represented our chapter as Voting Delegates for the new State Officer team

There is nothing quite like the magic of students teaching students! Our 5th graders teamed up with our Kindergarteners for a wonderful morning of crafts and smiles.
It was incredible to watch our older students step up as mentors—guiding the younger ones through their projects and sharing stories. The room was absolutely buzzing with laughter, learning, and a growing love for reading!
Watching these friendships form across grade levels is what our school community is all about. We already can’t wait for our next Book Buddy session! ✨

Katelyn plans to attend UW–River Falls to pursue a degree in Animal Science.
She’s been active in FFA and 4-H, serving as 4-H President, and participated in wrestling, softball, and volleyball - earning All-Conference honors in wrestling.
She’ll always remember almost falling into the oven during Foods class.
