🏃♀️ TWO SCHOOL RECORDS SET AT SECTIONALS!
History was made at the WIAA Sectional Meet in Marathon last night as Clear Lake athletes set not one, but two school records!
⭐ Pole Vault
Congratulations to Alissa Burbach on breaking her own school record in the pole vault. Alissa cleared 9'6", surpassing the previous school record of 8'9" that she set earlier this season.
⭐ 3200 Meter Relay
Congratulations to Alissa Burbach, Kiley Munson, Natalie Arcand, and Addy Warner on setting a new school record in the 3200 Meter Relay with a time of 10:12.44. Their performance broke the previous record of 10:12.90, which had stood since 2010.
Even more impressive, the relay team has lowered its time by nearly 40 seconds since the conference meet less than two weeks ago!

🏫 Governor Evers Visits Clear Lake High School
Today, we were honored to host Governor Tony Evers at Clear Lake High School. During his visit, he spent time with students and staff in three classrooms.
Mrs. Ruble’s 8th-grade History students participated in a question-and-answer session, while Mr. Crawford and his AP U.S. History students discussed how Clear Lake students benefit from distance-learning opportunities and popular electives, including Hamilton and APUSH.
As a former science teacher, Governor Evers enjoyed a visit to Mrs. Prusak’s Forensic Science class, where students apply science skills to real-world scenarios.
Thank you, Governor Evers, for taking the time to visit Clear Lake and engage with our students! 💙

Our 3rd-grade classes swapped sunglasses for rain jackets this week! Even though the clouds rolled in, it was still a fantastic day to be a 3rd grader in Clear Lake.
Our students took a well-deserved break at Clear Lake Park, proving that you don’t need sunshine to have a blast. From jumping in puddles to exploring the misty walking trails, it was a memorable way to celebrate all their hard work this school year. A little rain just added to the adventure!
A huge thank you to the teachers and chaperones for being such good sports, and to the Clear Lake School District for supporting these outdoor experiences—rain or shine. We are so lucky to have this beautiful backyard for our Warriors to explore! 💙☔
Check out some highlights from our rainy (but fun!) day below! 👇

📢 Attention all Jr/Sr High students and staff!
This Friday, we’re celebrating America’s 250th Birthday with a Red, White, and Blue Dress-Up Day! ❤️🤍💙
While the official Semiquincentennial celebration takes place this summer, we wanted to celebrate this historic milestone together before the school year ends.
As we head into Memorial Day weekend, we also take time to remember and honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Students enjoyed learning about the tools and technology used to treat cancer patients and hearing about your experiences in the field. Thank you for taking the time to speak with our students and provide insight into this important career path! 💙
