Our 1st graders officially met their new 4th grade Reading Buddies! To break the ice and start building those special mentorship bonds, the pairs spent the afternoon teaming up on fun STEM building challenges and getting creative with hands-on craft projects.
It was incredible watching our older students step up as leaders and seeing our little ones so excited to collaborate. We can’t wait to watch these friendships—and a shared love for reading—grow all year long! 🎒🤝🎨

Mrs. Shane and Ms. Lynch’s 4th graders brought maximum energy to the gym today as they faced off in a thrilling game of Dragon Ball! The gym was filled with strategy, high-speed teamwork, and tons of laughs as these brave 4th graders rallied together to take down the "Dragon."

💙🤍 Attendance Matters is BACK!
Last year, Clear Lake Jr./Sr. High School launched our Attendance Matters reward program to recognize students for consistent attendance—and we’re excited to bring it back for another year!
Each month, students in grades 7–12 will have opportunities to earn rewards for showing up and making attendance a priority.
🎟️ Students with 93% or higher attendance for the month will be entered into a drawing, with one student from each grade selected to receive a $10 gift card.
🏆 Students who achieve 100% attendance for the entire month will be entered into a separate drawing for a $50 grand prize!
Attendance is tracked monthly, which means every month is a fresh start and another opportunity to win!
We are incredibly grateful to the local businesses and community members who support this program and help make these rewards possible. 💙🤍

Remember the pure joy of walking into elementary school gym class and seeing those colorful, four-wheeled scooter boards waiting on the floor? Today, our amazing Kindergarteners got to experience that classic physical education milestone!
Our little athletes rolled into class ready to move, laugh, and burn off some serious energy. They practiced their steering skills, navigated fun obstacles, worked on their coordination, and—most importantly—learned how to zoom around safely while keeping their fingers clear of the wheels
Huge thanks to our PE staff for keeping fitness fun and full of imagination! 🌟 Based on the laughter today, we definitely have a class full of future race car drivers. 🏎️🏁
