Parents and guardians, please take two minutes to check your inbox! We have sent out our annual Transportation Survey, and we need your input.
⚠️ CRUCIAL DETAIL: We need EVERY family with a child in the district to fill this out—not just those who plan on using school transportation!
Even if your student walks, rides a bike, or gets driven to school, knowing your plans helps us map out the most efficient bus routes, manage district resources, and keep our students safe. An unanswered survey leaves a question mark in our planning!
🗓️ Deadline:
Please complete the survey by Monday, July 27th.
📧 Where to find it:
Check the email address associated with your Skyward.
Don't see it? Be sure to check your spam or junk folder just in case!
Thank you so much for your quick help in getting our school year off to a smooth, safe start. Let’s get 100% participation, Clear Lake!

Way to go, Violet!

Recently, employees of Specialty Coating Systems held a silent auction to benefit the Clear Lake Backpack Program. The Clear Lake SCS location raised $675.50, and in an especially generous gesture, the Indiana Corporate Office contributed an additional $324.50, bringing the total donation to an even $1,000!
What an impact this will make! So much appreciated!

Our summer school students turned into forensic scientists today! In our "Junior Detectives" lab, these clever investigators put their critical thinking skills to the test by analyzing hair and fiber evidence under the microscopes.
They are learning exactly how trace evidence can help solve a mystery. 🔎 Our students are discovering just how cool STEM can be in the real world!
Who knew science could be this mysterious? 🤔💥

🎯 Bullseye! Today we took our shot at archery! 🏹
We had some incredible focus, patience, and precision on display today as everyone learned the ropes of handling a bow and arrow.
🌟 Highlights from the Range:
Form & Focus: Learning how to stand, anchor, and aim. (Turns out, it takes a lot of core strength!)
The Sweet Sound: Nothing beats the satisfying thwack of an arrow hitting the target.
Standout Moments: We had some amazing groups, a few incredible bullseyes, and a whole lot of supportive cheering.
Whether you were a natural-born Robin Hood or just happy to hit the hay bale, everyone gave it 100%. So proud of the focus and safety shown by everyone out there today!
📸 Check out some of our best forms and bullseyes in the photos below! Who’s ready for the next round? 👇

Our budding scientists put their engineering skills to the ultimate test this week with the classic Egg Drop Challenge! The tension was high, the gravity was real, and the results are in:
🏆 4 Egg Drop Successes: Four brave eggs survived the plunge completely unscathed, thanks to some seriously clever containment designs!
🍳 1 Casualty: RIP to our lone fallen soldier. You cracked under pressure, but you taught us a valuable lesson in physics!
So proud of these kids for their creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork. It turns out science can be a little messy, but it’s always a blast!
Swipe to see some of our wild designs and the aftermath! 📸👇
