🎓 Senior Spotlight: Sophia Tellijohn
From the volleyball court to the classroom, Sophia has been a dedicated and well-rounded part of the Clear Lake High School community. Her involvement has included volleyball, FFA, NHS, Student Council, Ski Club, and club volleyball, while also earning recognition as Salutatorian, 2nd Team All-Conference, and a recipient of the WVCA All-Academic Award. One memory she’ll always remember is this year’s Regional Finals victory over Spring Valley. 🏐
Sophia says she’s most proud of “breaking out of my shell a little, especially in the last two years,” and encourages younger students to make the most of their high school experience:
💬 “Your high school experience is what you make it. You can spend your time cheating, not paying attention, and not being involved — or trying your best, doing activities, going to games, and having fun.”
This fall, Sophia will continue her education at UW–La Crosse.

🧵 Stitched with Pride! 🧵
Check out these incredible homemade quilts coming to life in Mrs. Hunter's 'Creative Sewing' class! 🏠✨
Seniors Katelyn & Lydia have been working hard to master their patterns, cutting, and assembly to create these beautiful, cozy masterpieces. Katie created a "rag quilt" out of recycled denim, while Lydia channeled her inner "Harry Potter" magic!
Sewing is more than just a craft—it’s a lesson in patience, design, and attention to detail. Nice work, quilters!

Don't miss out on a morning of growth, teamwork, and big hits. Grab your glove, bring your hustle, and let’s play ball!

Our first graders had an incredible day stepping back in time at the Rassbach Heritage Museum! It was a day filled with discovery, history, and plenty of sunshine.
🏛️ Exploring Our Heritage
The museum is home to a long and rich history, and our students were captivated by the stories of the past. A major highlight was visiting the Hilkrest School, a classic example of a one-room country school. It was eye-opening for the kids to see how much "the classroom" has changed over the years!
🛠️ Innovation at Fulton’s Workshop
We also spent time in Fulton’s Workshop, an interactive space designed for people of all ages to learn, marvel, and make. From hands-on tinkering to sparking new ideas, our little innovators were in their element!
🧺 Picnic in the Park
To wrap up our big adventure, we headed to the park for a beautiful picnic lunch. There’s nothing like some fresh air and play to celebrate a great day of learning.
A huge thank you to the museum staff and our wonderful chaperones for making this trip a success!

🤝 When CTE Worlds Collide! 🤝
Something amazing happens when our students combine their skills! We are excited to showcase a recent collaboration where different CTE classes came together to bring a project to life.
Senior Gavin showed off his craftsmanship by combining his skills from Tech Ed. (Woods) with creativity learned in FCS (Sewing) to bring his turkey hunting experience full circle. He designed, built, stained, and engraved this turkey mount to showcase for years to come. 🦃🛠️
Whether it’s Foods students working with Agriculture, or Sewing classes collaborating with Technology Education, these projects show that we are stronger when we work together. This cross-curricular approach gives students a real-world look at how different industries rely on one another to succeed. 🍲🧵
We love seeing the innovation, teamwork, and Warrior spirit in action! 💙
